OnGage is an email marketing dashboard that lets you manage contacts and campaigns and deliver your messages through multiple email service providers. Integrating OnGage with ReachMail is quick and straightforward.
Create OnGage Account
First, create an OnGage account. Then, contact OnGage Support and request a "Private SMTP" connection. Once it's enabled, you can continue with the setup as follows.
If you don't see the Private SMTP option, contact OnGage Support to request that be enabled.
Email Attributes
In the first section, enter the email sender details—your name and email address—that you’ll use for your mailings:
API Credentials
Enter the settings for ReachMail Easy-SMTP service. Please note that for the SMTP Username you will need to use the accountKey\username
format. Tip: If you don't know your account key and username, log into your ReachMail dashboard and check the Account Overview section for those values.
SMTP Host: Use the name ssrs.reachmail.net
SMTP Port: Use the preferred port 587
SMTP Username: Use the accountKey\username
for your account
Authentication Type: Leave this as login
(default)
Use TLS: Set this to Yes
Bounce Domain Setup
OnGage requires that bounces sent through the service get forwarded back to OnGage for processing. If your domain is mydomain.com
, create an MX record for bounce.mydomain.com
which will forward the bounces to mxprocessorvs.ongage.net
